What. A. Week.
Dare I say it, but the 2024 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials is arguably the most exciting we’ve ever seen. The sheer number of impressive swims, PRs, and broken records is a clear indication of how hard each and every athlete has worked this Olympiad.
Congratulations to all of our clients who poured their hearts into the Olympic Trials. The CG Sports team sat on the edge of our seats, cheered, and cried (no? just me?) watching Kieran Smith, Lilly King, Paige Madden, Dare Rose, Jack Dahlgren, and Katie Grimes compete with grace. We could not be more proud to work with such respectful, talented, and dedicated individuals. I guess what I'm really trying to say here is…
Big congratulations to all of the Olympic Trials competitors and to the newest additions to Team USA! I know we are not alone when we say we are excited to watch you all in Paris!

Elizabeth Beisel has partnered with the Blood Bank of Delmarva (BBD) to encourage individuals to donate blood this summer. From June 23 - July 7, anyone who donates blood at a BBD location will receive a free “Team Blood Donor” t-shirt.

Paralympic Trials
The U.S. Paralympic Swimming Trialssplash into action in Minneapolis, Minnesota starting tomorrow and will run until June 29th. The psych sheets for the meet are LIVE and CG Sports has several athletes pursuing spots on the 2024 Paris Paralympic team in several events:
McKenzie Coan: 50 free S7, 100 free S7, 400 free S7, and 50 fly S7
Colleen Young: 100 free S13, 100 breast SB13, and 200 IM SM13
Abbas Karimi: 50 free S5, 50 back S5, and 50 fly S5

Lilly King
Not only did Lilly King make her third Olympic team in her home state of Indiana, but she was greeted at the end of her 200 breaststroke final with a marriage proposal from boyfriend fiancé James Wells.
The two joined TODAY the next day to talk about the proposal and what it means to share such a meaningful moment with Lilly’s family and friends.
Owen Cravens
As Owen Cravens prepares for his Paralympic journey, we are excited to share "Looking Forward," a documentary about Owen by filmmaker Devon Gulati. "Looking Forward" started as a class project and evolved into a profound exploration of Owen's resilience. From early challenges with Stargardt's disease to becoming a top-ranked paratriathlete, Owen's decade-long journey unfolds with triumph.
"Looking Forward" captures his evolution from navigating competitive sports with diminishing vision to becoming a seasoned athlete poised for the Paralympics. It showcases Owen's physical prowess and emotional depth, his unwavering support from his mom, and the impact of his dedication on and off the racecourse.

Elizabeth rocked the house on the last day of the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials, playing the National Anthem for the crowd on her violin!
