Tickets to Paris ✅

Good morning.

The good times keep on rollin’ as we celebrate more athletes punching their tickets to Paris. Congratulations to McKenzie Coan, Colleen Young, and Abbas Karimi for qualifying for the 2024 Paris Paralympics! Paris will be the FOURTH Paralympic Games for McKenzie and Colleen, and the first for Abbas as a member of Team USA.

Altogether, Team USA named 33 swimmers to the team for the upcoming Paralympic Games over the weekend.

It’s a short week for many, so if you’re setting up an OOO email response, remember to include both an expectation for when you’ll be responding to emails and a helpful resource for people to read.

From all of us at CG Sports: have a safe and happy 4th of July!

Lilly King

Following a successful Olympic Trials, Lilly King caught up with Channel 14 News’ Max Parker. The two discussed what it was like for Lilly to qualify for Paris in her home state, but also her connections to her hometown of Evansville.

Lilly explained that, “[Olympic Trials] was great. I knew there were a lot of people that were going to be able to come to the meet who’ve never been able to see me swim before, so that was a really special thing that I got to experience during trials.”

Jack Dahlgren

Following the 2024 Olympic Swimming Trials in Indianapolis, Jack Dahlgren penned a thoughtful newsletter about his experience. Jack dropped time in several events, churning out some great races, and practiced some specific strategies to help him stay calm and focused throughout the Olympic Trials.

How to convert warm leads into partnership deals

Do you have people in your network who want to support you and your business? These are referred to as warm leads and, as often as possible, we want to convert these warm leads into partnership deals.

The best way to do this? Connect them to your team/your agent. If you’re unsure of what to say, we’ve written out a script that you can use to respond to DMs or emails.
