Invest in yourself

Good morning. Let's talk investments.

No, not the financial kind (although I do recommend learning about those, too).

I want to talk about investing in yourself and prioritizing experiences, tasks, and goals to create a more well-rounded and experienced version of yourself. There are many ways to invest in yourself: practicing hobbies you love, cooking your favorite meals, surrounding yourself with people who lift you up and bring out the best in you (the list goes on).

Enter the LEAD Sports Summit.

Founded in 2017 by Olympian Kara Lynn Joyce, the LEAD Sports Summit is an annual, all-inclusive event connecting female athletes with professional swimmers and experts in sport, nutrition, and mental health. This past weekend saw LEAD return to Denver and rich experiences were had by all. Everyone in attendance (athletes, speakers, coaches, vendors, and parents) chose to invest in themselves and each other throughout the weekend by supporting each other, learning from each other, and sharing knowledge and experiences.

My challenge to you this week is to choose one way to invest in yourself. Read your favorite book. Spend time enjoying art (or enjoying making art). Exercise. Spend time in the sun and with friends.

Enjoy your week and make it a good day to lead.

Mane n' Tail

Raise your hand if you would like longer, stronger, thicker, fuller hair.

Originally created on the Katzev family's horse farm, the Mane n' Tail products that we know today began as formulas for to help maintain the long flowing manes and tails of show horses. Equestrians loved and believed in the formula and so the formula was edited to provide the same benefits to human hair.

The Mane n' Tail line has shampoos that leave your hair soft and ultra clean, plus conditioners that help nourish and aid healthy hair growth. Since the early years, the company has expanded to include multiple shampoos, conditioners, an all-in-one, leave-in treatments, and more.
