Could you swim through a jellyfish sting?

Good morning. Open water swimming has a lot of distractions.

Jellyfish. Sharks. Disagreeable weather conditions. You name it, ultra-swimmer Sarah Thomas has probably encountered it or considered what it would be like to encounter it.

Most recently, Sarah became the 10th person (7th female) to complete the 25-mile swim across Monterey Bay. Despite strong winds, heavy swells, and three jellyfish stings, Sarah completed the swim in roughly 15 hours and 39 minutes.

Following her swim, Sarah explained to the press, "to do things like this, you have to have an internal drive to push through awful situations. And now, I'm really proud of myself."

With three days remaining in the work week, channel your inner open water swimmer. Push the distractions away. Keep moving through the tough moments. And, most importantly, be proud of yourself.

BORING! I bet you already knew I work at CG Sports Co., so let's add a little bit of spice to that sign off. There are plenty of ways to up your marketing with an email signature and still keep it professional. Did you know you can add images and links through Gmail and Outlook? Keep them small, but if you choose to add them, you'll want to pair it with relevant content.

Some options:

- Alternative contact info (work phone, mobile phone, email)

And, yes, it's good to reiterate your email even though you sent the email. For individuals on the receiving end, it is more accessible to click and start a new email to you, copy/paste to share, create a new contact, or have a more direct email address for you if you choose to use a different email address.

Other bonus information:

- LinkedIn

- Logo

- Social Media Handles (company, personal if applicable/functions as your business account)
