Legacies matter 🎾
Good morning. Another GOAT is retiring.
Tennis great Roger Federer recently announced his retirement and it is honestly difficult to imagine the competitive tennis scene without Federer. After all, he has been a staple since winning Junior Wimbledon in 1998.
Federer's legacy is long and storied. He has 105 career wins at Wimbledon, 102 career wins at the Australian Open, and many more accolades to his name.
In a video letter published to social media, Federer expressed gratitude to his family, friends, and fans for the years of support, exclaiming, "Of all the gifts that tennis has given me over the years, the greatest, without a doubt, has been the people I've met along the way."
Federer's retirement letter carries an important message: through all of life's ups and downs, achievements and injuries, remember to show gratitude to those around you.
Thank you, Federer, for your contributions to both tennis and the sports community. Enjoy your next match!
