It’s Mental Health Awareness Month
Good morning. May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Stress. Anxieties. Doubt. These are all strong emotions that can overwhelm and exhaust us. But they never mean that we are alone.
As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, the SEC Network sat down with Tennessee alum Maddy Banic and listened as Banic shared her story. The video interview is a raw, powerful, and unfiltered account of her experience navigating her mental health.
Thank you, Maddy, for sharing your story and reminding us all what it means to be resilient and true to yourself.
As May continues, there are many ways to support both yourself and those around you:
Remember to rest and keep your sleep consistent.
Take care of yourself by taking time for you.
Get outside and get some sunshine.
Most importantly, ask for help if you need it and provide help to others as you are able.
Have a great Wednesday, folks.

The Secret About Athlete Newsletters
As an agent for professional athletes, I strongly recommend that all athletes have their own newsletter for the purpose of getting sponsorships. Here are a few reasons why:
Direct Communication: Having a newsletter allows athletes to directly communicate with their fans and followers. This creates a personal connection and provides a platform for the athlete to share their story and accomplishments. By sharing their achievements, fans feel connected to the athlete and are more likely to support them.
Showcase Expertise: Athletes have a unique perspective on their sport and the industry. By sharing their insights and knowledge in their newsletter, they can establish themselves as experts and thought leaders in their field. This can attract the attention of brands and sponsors who are looking for individuals with a strong following and a credible voice.
Targeted Audience: Newsletters allow athletes to reach a specific audience. By collecting email addresses and other contact information from their followers, athletes can create a targeted list of potential sponsors. This means that they can tailor their content to a specific group and increase their chances of securing sponsorships.
Congratulations to Cierra Burdick and Valencia Basketball for winning the LF Endesa title for the first time in the women's team history!
