The Power of Sport
Good morning. I'll skip the witty intro and get right into it.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine has put the world on edge. Heartbreak and heartache reign supreme as the world navigates the emotions of war.
The politics of war touch all aspects of life, including sports. The world has reacted swiftly to Vladimir Putin and Russia with sanctions across all fields of life. Sports organizations have imposed bans against Russian and Belarusian athletes and cancelled events in Russia until further notice.
In times of chaos and uncertainty, it is important to remember the power that each of our voices hold. Sports are a platform for athletes, and athletes around the globe are speaking.
To the Ukranian people, our hearts are with you.

DEMAND YOUR BRAND
Strengths Test
Demanding your brand is all about playing to your strengths and embracing your weaknesses. If you are not sure what your strengths are in business, you are not alone. Here are a few tactics and questions to ask yourself to find out:
Listening in to what your colleagues, managers, friends and family have to say.
Identify what work you are doing when you are the most productive or your work flow comes naturally.
What topics can you teach others well? Do you enjoy doing that?
Social working style - do you prefer to work alongside a team or solo? Engaging in conversation or working behind the scenes?
Give these a shot, spend some time analyzing different positions you have held and what you like or did not like about them, and go from there! Regardless of what you find, there is always space to improve and grow to match the nice you are looking to fill.
SPONSOR
ELLAVATE SWIM CAMPS
Ellavate (v): to uplift, to inspire.
Ellavate Swim Camps was founded by Ella Eastin to share the skills and insight she has accumulated in a comprehensive swim clinic filled with technique, relays, racing, and a Q&A with Ella.
Recently, the inaugural Ellavate Swim Camps session was held at Ella's home pool at Tustin High School. Each swimmer went home with a sponsor gift including: an event t-shirt, arena cap, Bonkbreaker snack bar, SaltStick electrolyte chews, an Ellavate pen and note sheet for athletes to write what they learned and how they plan to ELLAVATE their game. Ultimately, the most important thing they left with was a smile.
"I wanted to provide the rare opportunity for athletes to slow down, be thoughtful, discover ways that will help them personally improve, and simply enjoy being in the water with other swimmers," said Ella.
