Jonny told the Chicago Sun Times, "The more the team shows that we are truly grateful for our fan base and what they bring to the games, it helps create a better relationship between fan and player and the whole game is better because of that."
Cierra Burdick and Team USA won the first ever title at the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Klaipeda stop. Cierra led the final for all scorers (8) and rebounders (7).

DEMAND YOUR BRAND
Gut Check
This week's edition of DYM is for you to take a personal inventory of your website, your social media, or whichever page or platform you are using to sell your products and your brand. Yes, you might be trying to sell your personality, your story, or your time - AKA, parts of your brand.
The Muse created a list of the top 35 personal webpages for several different purposes here. This goes beyond the individual and is definitely not a list of athlete only sites.
If you have a calling outside of your sport that you're hoping to share with the world, use this list to branch out, get into a different mindset on what your page looks like and what you are most called to when looking through these sites. Then, take inventory of the content you have, see what you can make of it, or where you might call for help to add, subtract, or reformat to improve the look, feel and purpose of your media pages.

Why I Hired an Accountant by Erin Papworth
Hiring an accountant taught this freelance writer, (who prides herself on building a business with her own two hands) that asking for help can be just as powerful as doing it all by herself. In addition to teaching me important lessons about humility, vulnerability, and asking for help, there are three big reasons this was a smart decision for me and my business.
Reason one: It helped me focus on what I do best.
I spent an entire week trying to file my taxes before reaching out for professional support. When 6 p.m. rolled around, and I hadn't written a single article, I proceeded to write until 3 a.m. I turned in work I wasn't proud of because I was exhausted and stressed. I missed deadlines, rescheduled networking opportunities, left important emails unanswered, and lost some credibility with a few clients.
Yes, running your own business means getting to wear multiple hats. But the biggest hat in my closet ( the floppy church hat, if you will) is writing. Taxes, while necessary and critical, should not take too much time away from his I generate money. My accountant, Eli Shales, specializes in helping self-employed individuals files taxes. He's not great with words, but he's a whiz when it comes to write-offs.
Check back next week for the second of three lessons learned from hiring an accountant!
