Every author should have an audiobook 🎙️
Good morning.
We love our Brand Camp Service and are always excited when we get to launch a new brand! Yesterday, Lindsay Looney launched her new brand, emphasizing the newsletter that she will be publishing as creative outreach.
Here is Lindsay’s new logo and what she had to say:
If you’re an athlete, coach, or team looking to develop your brand, here are three specific reasons why our Brand Camp experience is for you:
You are excited to highlight your unique story in an ever-changing world. By highlighting the various parts of your story that make you you, we can help create a brand that works FOR you and helps you to stand out from the crowd.
You are eager to connect with sponsors and want to formalize your portfolio. Logos are recognizable in the world; websites are linkable on social media sites; and ____.
You want to take the next step in your career. This could mean more than honing your brand logo and website. This could also mean launching a newsletter (typically linked through your website) to communicate with your community, beginning a speaking career, or more.
Regardless of your reason to develop your brand, we hope that the process is smooth and helps you to launch your career into new realms.

Enjoy your week!

Every author should have an audiobook
Every author should have an audiobook version of their book. This statement does not mean that everyone has to be an audiobook lover, but the market appeal of an audiobook speaks for itself.
If you are a published author or aspiring author, here are some statistics you need to know:
Approximately 38% of American adults have listened to an audiobook in the last year.
Audiobook sales have continued to grow in 2024, topping $2 billion so far.
The country with the largest percentage of audiobook listeners is currently the United States with 79.18% of the market.
The number of audiobooks has grown exponentially over the years to match the growth rate of listeners. In 2010, there were approximately 6,200 audiobooks published and, in 2021, there were approximately 74,000.
There are many more statistics I could shout at you, but most important one is this: readers love to have options. Why not offer them as many reading option as you can?
*Statistics are from from a combination of Market.us Scoop and Publisher’s Weekly.
