Mecklenburg Swim Association teams up with Novant Health as official healthcare provider
Nov 7th, 2023 - Mecklenburg Swim Association and Novant Health announced a new three-year partnership agreement today that will make Novant Health the official healthcare partner of the nationally recognized swim program. Novant Health is well known in the region for providing accessible and high-quality care. This includes offering the latest in specialized orthopedic and sports medicine services in Charlotte and across North Carolina.
“Our staff at MSA is thrilled about this long term agreement with Novant Health. When I started at MSA in 2021 there was ongoing discussion with our owner (Peter Perers) and National Coach (Sean Quinn) on how we can work with Novant not only in our dryland programming but in an effort to support and educate our membership holistically in health services. We look forward to this ongoing partnership”
Through this partnership, Novant Health will serve as the exclusive provider of health and wellness services to MSA Swim.

It’s our goal to support athletes of all ages and skill level in this community by offering same-day care for both sick visits, and any orthopedic and sports medicine injuries.”
Novant Health and MSA Swim will also work together to develop educational programming opportunities to benefit the overall health and wellness of MSA Swim athletes. Future health education topics include nutrition, mental health education and performance psychology, shoulder injuries and hands-only CPR.
