Take Chances: Marketing Edition

I’ve learned a lot about marketing over the years and one of the greatest lessons is: take chances. You don’t know the full impact that a marketing strategy will have unless you try it.

Last week, we tried something new and exciting ahead of our latest book launch: we released a newsletter with an excerpt from the book, Bittersweet Treasures: A Father’s Journey Through Loss & Healing — and the response was great!

  • Open rate on our newsletter campaign: 57.4%

  • Percentage of unique clicks on the pre-order link: 17%

  • Percentage of unique clicks on the link for the Christina Mauser foundation: 21%

All of the statistics above reflect how receptive our community is to not only a variety of marketing campaigns, but also the occasional change from their normal newsletter schedule (thank you!).

So, the next time you’re considering trying a new marketing strategy, be bold and give it a try!
